We will be holding a short ceremony on Friday 21 April at 2pm to mark the reopening of Gwynfryn play area following the renovations to the play equipment which were carried out at the end of last year. Mrs Pat Edwards has kindly agreed to officiate, and we hope that some local school children will be present to mark the occasion and enjoy using the equipment. We will also be dedicating a bench to our late Chair, Councillor John Edwards, for whom safe areas to play for the children of our communities was an abiding passion.
