Meet Our Community Agent, Susanne Allcroft
“I am delighted to be taking up the role of Community Agent for Minera Ward in what are unprecedented times in terms of isolation, loneliness and fear for many people. This is a very worthy service which connects the elderly and vulnerable with a wide range of resources and organisations to help in all sorts of areas of life from lack of social contact to housing issues and ensuring food and prescriptions are delivered on time. Coming from a health and social care background, I aim to help people in Minera, Five Crosses, New Brighton, The Wern and Gwynfryn improve their quality of life by living independently in their own homes through the service which is free for everybody and confidential at all times. There are a number of ways in which I can be contacted. My mobile number is 07988 025604 and my email address is mineraagent@gmail.com. I also have a Facebook site, Minera Community Agent, which has a messenger service. I will try and answer any calls or messages as soon as possible and look forward to working with the communities within Minera Ward.
Having a voice when it comes to your own care or the care of someone you look after is essential in taking control of what matters to you.
