We had to postpone this event in April due to the cold, wet weather, but we’re happy to announce that we will now officially mark the renovation of the play area on 7 July at 2.30pm.
Mrs Pat Edwards will cut the ribbon, and local school children will join us to mark the event and try out the equipment.
We will also formally dedicate the renovated bench which has been installed by the football field in honour of our late Chair, Councillor John Edwards, for whom safe places for our children to play was a lifelong concern.
