We have a problem Minera!
There is a simple wooden fence opposite Minera School which provides basic protection for children playing on the open space from the adjacent road. This fence was badly damaged for a couple of years until the Spring of this year when Wrexham Council managed to find money to reinstate it. Since then there has been regular minor damage inflicted on it which has been promptly repaired by both well-meaning residents and Wrexham Council. Unfortunately each repair is less effective than the previous one as the pieces of wood are beginning to break up.
North Wales Police is watching for further incidents and is increasing patrols in the area. We would really like this problem to go away, so if you can provide any details of who might be responsible for this long-running problem, please contact the police in complete confidence by dialling 101. Thank you.
