Please see below an important message from Scottish Power – please pass this message on to anyone you know who could be eligible for support.
We’ve had an extremely busy few days repairing the extensive damage to the electricity network. 171,580 customers were affected, and we now have less than 500 customers impacted by Storm Darragh still off supply.
Our teams, supported by additional resources, including specialist tree and lines teams, are working hard to continue to clear debris and rebuild damaged parts of the network. We anticipate that many customers who lost electricity on Saturday morning will be back on supply by 10pm tonight. We continue to update customers on our progress via text and telephone and have a dedicated team of customer service agents who have been contacting all impacted customers directly today.
