Cllr Jeff Belton brought the cherry picker to St Mary’s Church on Monday 11 November to help myself and Cllr Tom Grundy install the Christmas lights. We’re a couple of weeks earlier than usual, taking advantage of the good weather, but won’t be turning the lights on until early December. St Mary’s is planning a formal switching on event this year with mulled wine, mince pies and carols. We’ll be posting up full details here when we have them.
