The introduction of a default 20mph national speed limit in Wales in September 2023 has caused a great deal of public debate.
Minera Community Council was not part of the law-making process which brought in this piece of legislation, nor will we have any influence in any changes to the legislation which might be passed in the future.
We are happy, however, to facilitate the Welsh Government in its efforts to gather meaningful feedback on the consequences of the law change before any further changes are made, and to enable all residents of Wales to have a forum where they can find information about this topic of national concern.
We have therefore attached here the Minister’s letter setting out the Welsh Government’s agenda for review of the law and the links which will enable you to forward your views to the relevant authorities.
