We have now received approval from Wrexham Council to reopen Gwynfryn play area, and we hope that local children will enjoy using the new equipment.
We will have a proper opening ceremony in the Spring, which will also include the dedication of a bench and trees to commemorate this year’s Platinum Jubilee, and recognise the contribution to our community made over many years of our late Councillor John Edwards, for whom the provision of play facilities for local children was an abiding interest and passion.
We will post up some pictures of the new playground soon – our first attempt to capture some images was thwarted by fog!
